This is part 2 of my conversation with Johnny and Christina Nelson. Johnny is the Founder of Arctos Capital, a Private Equity firm specializing in partnerships with trusted operators in the top-performing markets of AZ, TX, OK, NM, and beyond. Additionally, he is a multifamily owner, operator, and investor in multiple US states. He has delivered strong cash-flow and market-exceeding returns on his current and past Real Estate activities. Prior to his Real Estate business activities, Mr. Nelson worked as a Mechanical Engineer & Project Manager in the medical, additive, and power industries, and as a General Contractor in AK. He received his bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and master’s degrees in Material’s Science from the University of North Dakota. He lives in Minneapolis MN with his wife, and is beyond excited to take on his newest roll of dad-to-be this summer. 

 

Christa Nelson is Co-Founder and Chief People Officer for Arctos Capital. She employs a data- focused strategy coupled with a strong vision for culture and company growth, and a unique team building perspective. Prior to her entrepreneurial activities, Mrs. Nelson graduated with a MA in Human Resource Management from Concordia University St. Paul. She has over 13 years of management, HR, and operations experience with Fortune 100 companies in Hospitality and Financial Services. She specializes in Employee Relations, Dispute Resolution, and HR Consulting. She is a dedicated wife, daughter, and philanthropist dedicated to serving the community of Minneapolis, MN.
