This is part 2 of my conversation with Douglas Dowell. He is a lawyer who has been investing in real estate for many years. He has done a variety of real estate related w2 gigs, from mowing lawns for landlords to managing a 60-unit property, to office space leases for a major telecom company, to practicing landlord tenant law. He has now chosen to enter the real estate entrepreneur space with a focus on ground up multitenant retail and building to rent. He is passionate about mindset management, capital raising, aviation and his deer head chihuahua named Roo.
In this episode, Douglas Dowell talks about how embracing your differences is key if you want to be successful, and how you should never strive to be “normal.” He discusses how people with ADHD often struggle to find their place in the world, and how they often wind up in an in-between space. He discusses how taking massive action can help you achieve your goals, and how having a mindset of abundance can help you overcome any challenges. If you’re interested in learning about or if you are someone who is already interested in the topic, then this podcast is for you!
